General Abundance ("we", "us") operates invest.intersectionhq.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect little.

Information we collect

When you submit our intake form, we collect your name, your email address, and the description you write of what you are building or why you want to invest alongside us. We also record the IP address the submission came from, which we use to rate limit the form against abuse. We use privacy-friendly analytics that collect aggregate usage data about visits to this site.

We do not collect phone numbers and we do not send text messages.

How we use it

We use your information to evaluate your submission, respond to you by email, and operate and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Email communications

Submitting the intake form sends your submission to our inbox. If we reply, we reply to the email address you provided, about the submission you made. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not send newsletters or promotional email. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any message from us or emailing hello@intersectionhq.com.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of vendors to run this site: an email delivery provider to send intake submissions to us, and a hosting and analytics provider. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function.

Data retention

Submissions arrive as email and are retained in our inbox for as long as needed to evaluate them and maintain our records. We delete them when they are no longer needed, and you can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email hello@intersectionhq.com. We respond to all legitimate requests.
